Lattice

Biostimulant

Lattice can be used on a broad range of crops such as potatoes, sugar beet and vegetable brassicae.

Lattice is a nutrient efficiency biostimulant that improves soil structure and acidification around the rhizosphere and microbial activity around the roots, solubilising phosphorus and making it available to the plant whilst stimulating the production of nitric oxide and indoleacetic acid, two molecules that play a crucial role in plant growth, development, and responses to biotic and abiotic stresses. By promoting the growth of the root system, nutrient acquisition and soil microbial activity is made better. Nutrient availability, particularly phosphorus is improved, and the resultant extensive root system increases nutrient and water uptake.

Lattice contains two naturally occurring and complimentary probiotic bacteria, Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Lactobacillus farciminis.

These bacteria help improve soil structure and promote root growth, whilst improving nutrient uptake, particularly phosphorous.

How does Lattice work?

Lattice increases the production of exopolysaccharides (or EPS) on and around plant roots. EPS’ are naturally produced by soil organisms and play an important role in improving soil structure in the rhizosphere for nutrient retention and increased microbial activity.

EPSs lead to the production of weak organic acids so improving acidification and microbial activity around the roots, this changes macro and micronutrients into their more available forms for plant uptake, especially phosphate into available phosphorus forms for the plant to take up.

Lattice also promotes root growth via the production of nitric acid and indolacetic acid which play key roles in plant growth and development, improving nutrient and water uptake, by the regulation of water use efficiency and the abiotic and biotic stress responses of the plant to its environment.

About Lattice

Key benefits

  • Lattice increases the production of exopolysaccharides (EPS) by soil organisms on and around plant roots (rhizosphere) improving acidification and microbial activity, increasing the uptake of macro and micronutrients thus contributing to improved root and plant growth.
  • By increasing the acidification of the rhizosphere, Lattice converts phosphate into the available form of phosphorous that increases root growth and development.
  • Lattice stimulates the production of nitric acid and indoleacetic acid that are important for plant growth, development and the plants response to biotic and abiotic stresses.
  • Acidification of the rhizosphere and production of nitric and indoleacetic acid improve root growth, nutrient uptake, enhances plant growth and resilience increasing biomass and crop vigour thus contributing to increased yield and crop quality.
