Can you tell us a little about your background and what led you to join Corteva?
I’ve worked in HR for over 20 years across a variety of industries, but what really drew me to Corteva was the opportunity to be part of a company with deep roots and a fresh, independent future. When I joined in 2019, I was excited by the challenge of supporting teams not just in the UK and Ireland, but also across the Nordics and Baltics. Our people are fantastic, and every day brings something new, and that’s exactly what I love about my role!
Do you have a connection to agriculture outside of your role at Corteva?
While I don’t come from an agricultural background, I’m proud to support a business that plays such an important role in the sector. My focus is on people, and I really enjoy learning more about the industry as I partner with teams on people processes. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my family and it’s especially rewarding to see my children develop the same appreciation.
What has been the most interesting project you’ve worked on at Corteva, or can you share a standout moment from your time in this role?
Some of the most memorable moments in my career have come from working on complex, high-impact projects that required strong collaboration across teams and countries. Playing a key role in the organisational transition when Dow and DuPont separated into standalone businesses was one of these moments. It required strong collaboration, a strategic approach and close connection with the HR and people impacts.
How do you stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in agriculture?
I’ll be honest - I don’t actively follow agricultural trends! My role is focused on supporting people, so while I’m not immersed in the technical side of the industry, I do enjoy learning more about the business through the teams I work with.
What advice would you give to someone aspiring to follow a similar career path as you?
Be curious, be collaborative, and be courageous! HR in agriculture is about understanding the people behind the science and the field work. Build strong relationships, stay open to learning, and don’t be afraid to challenge the status quo if it means improving how we support our teams.
From your perspective, what sets Corteva apart from other companies in the industry?
What stands out to me about Corteva, is its genuine commitment to creating a culture where people feel valued and supported - not just in their roles, but as individuals. It’s refreshing to be part of a company that doesn’t just talk about its values, but also actively lives them in the way it treats its people.
What are you most looking forward to in the coming year at Corteva?
I’m looking forward to embracing the new technologies we have available - not just for greater efficiency and quality output, but also to support initiatives that genuinely add value for our people. I’m also really enjoying working on projects that connect me with colleagues beyond my usual countries, as well as mentoring people both within and outside of HR. It’s a great way to share experiences and learn from others.

Outside of work, where are we most likely to find you or what activities do you enjoy?
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my husband, our four children and friends. I enjoy the theatre, countryside walks, travelling when I can, good food, and catching up with friends. These moments help me recharge and keep perspective.
