LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming), in partnership with Corteva Agriscience, is delighted to announce that applications are now open for Round 3 of Resilient & Ready – the flagship programme helping farmers drive forward sustainable, resilient, and nature-based farming.
Launched in 2019, Resilient & Ready offers a unique, three-year package of technical support, bespoke training, strategic communications coaching, and access to the latest tools to build future-ready farm businesses. The programme is designed to equip participants with the skills and confidence to become leaders in climate-positive farming.
For this next round, LEAF and Corteva are particularly keen to hear from farmers interested in:
Nick and Lucy Tyler of Kingsplay Farming Company Ltd, an 850 hectare mixed dairy, beef and arable business in north Wiltshire, who participated in the last R&R programme, described their experience as transformative:
“Resilient & Ready pushed us to think more strategically about our whole farm system. It’s helped us embrace innovation and take practical steps towards becoming a more regenerative, sustainable business.”
Brother and sister team, Bryony and Archie Graham, who run Lodge Farm, a 300 hectare arable farm in Nazeing, Essex, added:
“The support we’ve received – from technical insights to communications training – has been phenomenal. We’re more confident in the direction we’re taking the farm and better equipped to share our journey with others.”
Applications for Round 3 are now open, with successful candidates joining a growing network of forward-thinking farmers committed to delivering real change in agriculture.
To help prospective applicants learn more, LEAF and Corteva are hosting an in-person recruitment event on 15th September 2025 at Harper Adams University, Shropshire. Attendees will hear directly from past participants, meet the programme team, and explore what’s involved.
Dan Stevenson, Head of Sustainable Farming at LEAF, said:
“Resilient & Ready is about empowering farmers to become changemakers – combining best-in-class science with practical on-farm support, underpinned by the principles of Integrated Farm Management. We’re incredibly proud of the impact so far and look forward to welcoming the next cohort.”
Sally Harris, UK and Ireland Technical Manager and R&R Programme lead from Corteva Agriscience added:
“I’m thrilled that we’re now recruiting for round 3 of our Resilient & Ready programme. Farmers involved in the previous 2 cohorts have found the programme hugely positive to their business. If you’re a forward-thinking, curious, and motivated farmer who wants to farm sensitively while building a thriving, future-fit business then please do apply.”
Resilient & Ready On-Farm Recruitment Event
To mark the launch of the R&R third cohort, LEAF and Corteva will host an on-farm recruitment event on 15th September 2025 from 9:30 – 14:00, at Harper Adams University, Shropshire.
